Dec 29, 2008 · I have no issues with connecting it. I just disconnect the ethernet cord from the computer and connect it to the PS3. I did have a friend initially set up my internet capabilites for the PS3 at his place using Comcast. I dont know if that could have something to do with it, or if its how he set it up? Sorry cant be more help.
It's happened with every ps3 I've had, and I've had like 3 or 4 (had to get new ones because the other ones broke trying to connect to internet). I was able to connect the PS3 to my phones hotspot
